[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. {Sad:29}
He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian. And they say, "[We pledge] obedience." But when they leave you, a group of them spend the night determining to do other than what you say. But Allah records what they plan by night. So leave them alone and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of Affairs. Then do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction. {An Nisa:80-82}
Both ayaah from the Quran urges us to introspect, to look inward deep within ourselves when reading the Quran. In other words, we are essentially told to practice Tadabbur (English translation: reflecting on the verses of the Quran).
We strongly encourage reflecting upon the Quran, drawing lessons from Allah’s words and applying them to our own lives based on the ayaah mentioned above.
Here at AyeshaShares, that is what we strive for. We hope to consistently live our lives according to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and along the way with Allah’s Grace and Permission, inspire others to do the same.
We are firm believer of consistency and starting small in reaching the Taqwa to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. That is why we are inviting you to join our sharing session!
It will be structured according to the step-by-step method, taking inspiration from the book, Ayaah of The Day Journal by Sister Ayesha Syahira.
This step-by-step format format will be our guide in systematically and effectively reflecting on and relating to the verses of The Quran.
